4 Such a katba has been brought that [among] the shops in the aforementioned qasba,
5 possession of a row of shops is my patrimony.
6 At this time, the desai Nars Sethi has brought a farman [stating]
7 that possession over the shops
8 should be given [to him] by order of the judge. On account of this both of us
9 struck an agreement that the muqaddams and the fifty two communities
10 of the aforementioned qasba [should gather at] the Siddharama [temple], and
11 if they, [seeing that] the shop is in the control of the desai Nars Sethi,
12 should provide testimony [to that fact],
13 [then], the store has no connection to me. If from this speech
14 there should be any deviation, then I will be a criminal of the diwan.

5Writing in the name of Adi Sethi, son of Rami Sethi,
6sethiya of the aforementioned qasba in the Suhur year
7of three eighty and nine-hundred [983], the reason [being that]
8a katba is written. Such that
9possession over the aforementioned qasba’s row of shops
10has been our patrimony from generation to generation.
11At this time, the desai Nar Sethi
12brought a farman of the diwan such that
13[the patrimony] has proceeded from generation to generation so
14justice should be effected. So
15[a procedure has been established].
16The aforementioned qasba’s muqaddams and
17communities small and large should be gathered
18and caused to make an offering to Siddarama Dev
19and ask rightlyIf the shops belong to Nar Sethi,
20so they say, then custody of it
21should be given [to him]. After this, if any opposition should be made
22then may [they] be criminals of the diwan. This katba
23is approved by us. On the date 23 of the month of
24Jumadi al-Akhir.
