Note: Prior to its incorporation as a Mughal province (suba) in the second half of the seventeenth century, Bidar was a major city and capital of the Bahmani Sultanate, hence the epithets "City of Muhammad (Muhammadabad)" and "City of Victory (Zaffarabad)." The coordinates provided refer to the location of the city of Bidar.
